Our Fly Line Service - We load your new Fly Reel or Spool when purchased with a fly line/lines this has proved a popular service (we load up your chosen reel / spare spool with backing and braided loops Free of charge) If you are unsure which line is best for your rod or where you fish, either telephone the shop or email Tony and he is more than happy to help.

We stock the popular range of Greys fly rods, Greys fly fishing reels,fly lines, waterproof clothing and fly fishing tackle. New for 2012 are the XF2 Saltwater and XF2 Competitor fly rods as well as the ever popular Greys Streamflex, GRXi+ and GS ranges. Also the new GX300 fly reel and also Greys GX500 fly reel and GX700 fly reels with a cassette style spare spool system with unique fly line identification system

In 2011 our top selling Hardy fly rod was the Uniqua fly rod range which was popular with both beginners’ and the more experienced caster alike with its easy middle to tip action.

With even lower prices for 2012 we don’t expect that to change ! An exciting new development from Hardy for the 2012 season sees the re -Introduction of the Hardy Bros brand which encompasses a stunning range of Cane fly rods and the state of the art Sintrix Artizan carbon fly rods and also a range of Traditional fly reels .

Sage fly rods and reels continue to lead where others follow and from the TXL-F Range for the small stream angler to the superb VXP with its high line speed and a slender shaft design that reduces its overall weight. We also stock the Sage TCX , Xi3 and a range of Sage fly fishing reels.

Sage purchased the Redington fly rod company in 2010 and the new for 2012 Pursuit and Voyant fly rod ranges definitely show the Sage influence .

We also have our own Fly lines available they are manufactured for us in England to our own specifications and taper and they are proving very popular.

Last season was the year of the shooting head for the Salmon Angler with the Rio AFS Spey shooting head system our leading Salmon fly line. New for 2012 from Vision Fly fishing are the latest Opas, Kura and Vector breathable waterproof jackets which are in our opinion the best jackets available.

Also new Siks Salmon fly rods are an interesting addition to our stock as the first decent six piece Salmon fly rods we have seen.

The Vision Koma fly reels have been our best-selling disc drag reel for several years and the latest Vision Nite large arbour bar stock reel will no doubt continue that trend.

Also new from Vision the new Venus and Big Daddy Saltwater fly rods.

And truly superb Trout rod range called the MAG series a range consisting of 3 nine foot and 5 ten foot fast action fly rods in a range of line sizes from 3-8 weights.

The 9ft 4-5 MAG is a dream to use it is easily capable of casting out 30 yards of Rio Grand fly line on a Stillwater (we recommend this line for these rods) and yet the next will happily fish 10-15 feet on the river with light tippets.
